Sustainability Screen

Sustainability Screen

Sustainability Screen Complementing our ESG performance tool, the SS would be a repository of a diverse range of baseline environmental, biodiversity, social, cultural information prevailing in our region. Being geospatially enabled, SS would be able to stack up and query for and consolidate information from a composite geo-spatial database prepared based on authentic and validated data integrated from earth imageries, government sources and other available public databases.

We are presently integrating environmental quality prediction models and rule bases that would help decision makers to understand the magnitude and severity of impacts on impact indicators like air quality, odour, water quality based on emissions from a facility and to evaluate their significance in context of existing environmental and social baseline. There, through Sustainability Screen, Si would be digitally enabling the evaluation of site-specific impacts and risks originating from a process or operation.

In near future, Sustainability Screen would emerge as a planning support system that would help sustainability planners to consolidate data over a larger area of interest, predict and assess carrying capacity-based impacts and risks that would feed into higher level cumulative, regional strategic level impact assessments.

Features

  • Smart visualization and interaction through a web-enabled map-based interface, allowing for understanding of environmental, biodiversity and social information.
  • ntuitively, assisting a user to consolidate and generate site specific screening and baseline reports across a wide range of environmental and social impact indicators.
  • Assist in predicting the scale and severity of impacts originating from a planned development through integrated environmental models and rule bases.
  • Undertake scenario-based spatial multicriteria based assessments that will support decision makers in understanding how adverse environmental quality can affect social vulnerability of an area.
